The ICC has made public the ranking of the T20 batsmen. India’s T20 star batsman Suryakumar Yadav has a big lead in this latest ranking released by the ICC. Indeed, in the third and final T20 match of the three-match T20 series against Australia, Suryakumar Yadav pitched a blistering 69-run inning. He has benefited from this entry and has now reached second place in the ICC T20 batting ranking, overtaking Pakistan captain Babar Azam. At the same time, in this ranking, Pakistan’s goalkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan remains in first place with 861 points.
Suryakumar Yadav overtook Pakistan captain Babar Azam to reach second position in the ICC T20 batting ranking. Apart from Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has dropped one place in his bowling ranking and has now reached the 10th position. Apart from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Axar Patel has gained a lot in his bowling ranking as he has jumped seven places from 18th to 11th position. Akshar, bowling brilliantly against Australia, took 8 wickets in the three-match T20 series.
The first match of the three-match T20 series will be played today between India and South Africa. This match will be played at Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram starting at 7pm today. In view of the T20 World Cup 2022, this series is very important for both teams.
In June this year too, the South African team came to India for the five-match T20 series. However, the series ended in a 2–2 tie after the fifth and the deciding T20 in that series was eliminated due to rain.
