Sub 20 World Cup: Argentina trained and traveled to Santiago del Estero for the debut

The Argentine Under 20 team carried out its last training session before the start of the World Cup in the category and left for Santiago del Estero for the first match this Saturday at 6:00 p.m. against Uzbekistan, in Group A, at the Madre de Ciudades stadium. The selected trip began the concentration in the province for the match that will open the World Cup.

The coach Javier Mascherano and the physical trainer Pablo Blanco did not vary the practice with respect to what it was throughout the week, with physical work and coordination with the ball in the first hour to close with tactical movements and activity in reduced spaces.

There were also separate tasks for the three goalkeepers –Federico Gomes Gerth, Nicolás Cláa and Lucas Lavagnino– with the specialized coach, and then they spent an extra hour with the rest of the squad practicing free kicks and mid-distance shots.

After the two friendlies against the Dominican Republic (4-0) and Japan (2-1), Argentina still does not have a defined starting eleven, since Mascherano rotated the players a lot in the warm-up duels, so it is unknown.
