Sony has just launched a new virtual surround sound bar at a very competitive and attractive price.
For approximately 265 euros, users can purchase the new audio equipment that supports Smart TV at home.
The new Sony HT-5400 sound bar is a 2.1 channel system
We’re used to Sony releasing home audio equipment with the latest technology built in that ends up being reflected in a price less friendly to most wallets.
But now the Japanese giant has just launched a virtual surround sound bar that costs approximately 265 euros. Best of all, Sony has managed to combine performance, features and affordability in the sleek new HT-5400.
In fact, the new sound bar is a 2.1-channel system capable of delivering virtual surround sound and thus providing an immersive audio experience to the content that is broadcast on the Smart TV.
Sony HT-5400 has a total power of 330 watts
The included subwoofer is rated at 130 watts, but in total the Sony HT-5400 is capable of 330 watts of power, powerful enough to fully participate in the Portuguese national football team matches.
To be connected to the Smart TV, the new sound bar is equipped with wireless connectivity, such as integrated Bluetooth. It also has HDMI ARC and optical audio options for those interested.
Sony has already announced that the new HT-5400 sound bar will be available on store shelves from 2022. However, it did not specify which regions will have access first and if there will be a price difference in each country. But of course the affordable price is one of this device’s strongest selling points, so we think Sony will stick with it, even if there are minor fluctuations from country to country.
