Serious violation of human rights in Indian Punjab, Sikhs for Justice filed a case in America

Against the crackdown on violence in Indian Punjab and the complete shutdown of the Internet, Sikhs for Justice has filed a case in the US against the serious violations of human rights in Punjab.

The American Federal Court in New York sought the response from the Chief Minister of Punjab and two other officials.

The court has given a maximum of two months to Indian Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Gaurav Yadav to respond.

On this occasion, Consul General Sukhgar, Justice Gurptunat Singh Pannu has said that the case has been filed under the Torture Victims Protection Act, the relevant act that allows US courts to prosecute human rights violations abroad. Those involved in war crimes in Punjab will be brought to justice. Punjab has been cut off from the world by shutting down internet service to hide atrocities.

It should be remembered that the Sikhs around the world are protesting against the atrocities in Punjab and the arrest of Amrit Pal Singh. Thousands of Sikhs participated in the protest at the Indian High Commission last week. Thousands of Sikhs participated in the two phases of the referendum in Australia. India’s concern is obvious.
