‘Selfie’ account will open with very little revenue, this prediction about Akshay Kumar’s film

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is awaiting the release of his new movie Selfie. In this he will be seen with Emraan Hashmi. Now, ahead of the premiere, the box office production of ‘Selfie’ has come to the fore. It is said that this Akshay Kumar film will be able to gross very little on its opening day. Let’s know why so?

Producer and film business analyst Girish Johar has predicted an opening of Rs 4-5 crore for the film Selfie. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Girish said that if the film is good, word of mouth can help in the second half of the opening day. He said that Pathan has been running for some time. The beginning of the movie must be good. Other than this, Shehzada and Antman have mixed reviews, so it may turn out to be good for Selfie. I hope the audience accepts its content.

Business analyst Atul Mohan said ‘the buzz is very low. It’s almost non-existent and advance booking isn’t great either. One good thing is that they have kept the ticket prices very low. The cost of the first day shows is mainly 120-140 rupees. The screens are also less so I think the movie can gross Rs 4-5 crore on the first day. If all goes well, Selfie can earn Rs 15 crores or more on the weekend.

Significantly, apart from Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, stars like Nusrat Bharucha, Diana Penty will also appear in the Selfie movie. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film will hit theaters on February 24. ‘Selfie’ is Akshay Kumar’s debut feature and in such a situation his success is very important because last year not a single Akshay Kumar movie could show his charm at the box office.
