Due to the Karuna epidemic in the mosques of Saudi Arabia, the teaching and recitation of the Holy Quran, which had been stalled for a year and a half, was restored.

According to Al-Arabiya.net, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Religious Affairs and Da’wah and Guidance Abdul Latif bin Al-Sheikh has directed the restoration of teaching circles and memorization of the Qur’an in all mosques across the country and the resumption of women’s Qur’an courses.

Men and women will now be able to participate in teaching and memorization of the Qur’an, but they will have to register through the SOPs designed for health, especially the implementation of social distance, confirmation of coronary vaccination and trusting app.

Minister of Religious Affairs Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh had issued an order on 14 Rajab Al-Marjab 1441 AH to close all da’wah, teaching and memorization programs in all mosques of Saudi Arabia until further notice.
