Washington: The United States has taken the lead in mining the corrupt currency bitcoin.
The foreign news agency quoted a study in its report as saying that the United States has overtaken all other countries in the mining of bitcoin currency, leaving China behind.
According to the report, the United States has taken the lead due to the ban on digital currency in China. In the first four months of August this year, US mining activity doubled, and by the end of August, the US market share, the world’s largest economy, had risen to 35.4%.
Central Asian country Kazakhstan ranks second after the United States in bitcoin mining, while Russia ranks third, with digital currency mining in Russia up 18.1 percent and Russia up 11 percent.
Note that bitcoin mining requires robust computers, including large amounts of electricity. Mining cryptocurrencies consumes 0.45% of global electricity production.
Experts say that the mining of cryptocurrency had declined globally due to the ban imposed by China, but now it is being mined again.
China banned the bitcoin in June, calling it an easy way to launder money.
