Sanjay Leela Bhansali Releases His First Original Music Album Titled Sukoon

Bollywood filmmaker and composer Sanjay Leela Bhansali has released his first music album Sukoon. The album will be released today, December 7, on all music streaming platforms.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali makes a foray into the world of music with this. The filmmaker has been a composer for his own films for many years. He has composed songs for Guzaarish, Ram Leela, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and Gangubai Kathiawadi.

But this album is his first attempt at original, non-film music: “This album has been in the making for two years. During the difficult period of COVID, I found peace, tranquility and love while creating SUKOON. I hope you find the same as you listen.”

The new album, which translates as peace, has nine different songs sung by artists like Rashid Khan, Shreya Ghoshal, Armaan Malik, Papon, Pratibha Baghel, Shail Hada, and Madhubanti Bagchi. Sanjay has made extensive use of various musical instruments, including tablas, flute, guitars, sarangi, sitars, and harmonium.

We are very curious! You’ll hear?
