For the Samsung Galaxy S23 range, it is reported that the South Korean technology will use Qualcomm’s new Sonic Max 3D sensor. This was introduced by Americana earlier this year and is currently the most advanced on the market.

We are talking about an ultrasonic sensor present in only a handful of Android smartphones. If it is indeed included in the Galaxy S23, it will be a big step, also for Qualcomm, in popularizing its new technology.

The Sonic Max 3D sensor offers a fingerprint recognition area ten times larger than that currently available on the Galaxy S22. Strictly speaking, we are talking about an area of ​​20 mm x 30 mm capable of recognizing this human biometric parameter.
