The famous Egyptian religious scholar Allama Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi died at the age of 96.

Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi was the author of hundreds of books and until his death, he was serving as the president of the International Union of Muslim Scholars. He is also considered the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi had a special ideological devotion to the founder of Jamaat-e-Islami, Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maududi and Imam Hasan al-Banna.

Allama Yusuf Al-Qaradawi was born on September 9, 1926 in a village in Egypt, “Safat Tarab”, and for a long time he was active in the Muslim Brotherhood.
