PlayStation I just confirmed that your next virtual reality console, PlayStation VR 2, will go on sale in early 2023.
It is one of the most anticipated Virtual Reality devices, as it Sony has shown that the helmet comes with a lot of features.
On the one hand, “See-Through View” technology offers a way to see your surroundings, even with a helmet, thanks to the VR2’s built-in front cameras.
Additionally, players will be able to customize their play area using PlayStation VR2 Sense controls to explore the room. This will allow players to expand and customize the play area to suit their playstyle and room environment.
The PlayStation VR2 comes with 2 VR2 Sense controllers, which are designed with the same philosophy as the Dualsense controllers for the PS5. These controls use haptic feedback and the adaptive triggerswhich will help with immersion in games.

The headset offers your experience in two different modes, VR and Cinematic Mode. At the VR Modeplayers can experience the games in a 360º view in a virtual environment, showing 4000 x 2040 HDR video with 90Hz/120Hz frame rate.
At the cinematic modeOr, gamers can view the PS5 system and UI and all non-VR games and media content on a virtual cinema screen. Content in cinematic mode will be displayed in 1920×1080 HDR video format with 24/60Hz and also with 120Hz refresh rate.
While the console is still a ways off, several games have already been confirmed for the device, including Horizon Call of the Mountain, Resident Evil 8, No Man’s Sky and Among Us.
