All four models share some interesting commonalities. First, you find a new image processor. It is called the P5 Intelligent Dual Picture Engine. Able to detect the type of content, it will bring to life a new generation of OLED panels that Philips promises to be 20% brighter. TVs are all compatible Fast Motion Clarity which considerably reduces the delay in the display, which is very useful for gaming, for example. Latency would also have been improved.

2021 OLED + prices range from 2,300 euros to 5,000 euros

Three models enter the series OLED + 936 which succeeds the OLED + 935 series from the second half of 2020. It comes in three sizes : 48 inches, 55 inches and 65 inches. Prices range from 2300 euros to 3499 euros. Prices may be a little high compared to the market (especially for small sizes), but which are partly justified by the integration of the remote audio system comparable to an external sound bar.

The fourth model, theOLED + 986, is much more ambitious and benefits from a more generous sound system. With him, Philips even pays for the luxury, this time, to go and tease Sony’s XR range, of which we tested in June the latest model, the Bravia XR A90J. Available in one size, 65 inches, OLED + 986 close to 5000 euros. The products are scheduled for release in the coming weeks: early October for OLED + 986 and in September for OLED + 936.
