Pau Gasol fully enters the business world after retiring as a basketball player. Since he left the NBA in 2021, the Spanish basketball player has begun to invest in different sectors. His latest investment has been in Colvinthe Barcelona start-up for online flower sales.

Since its founding in 2016, Colvin has raised around €70 million, among all the financing rounds that have closed since its foundation. The last round was a C-series which closed in July 2021 with a value of €45 million, led mainly by the French investment group Eurazeo together with the Capagro fund. And thanks to the money raised, they have been able to get a little closer to the goal of becoming a platform that connects farmers, wholesalers, florists and customers, through technology.
