The Minister of Economy, Planning and Development, Pável Isa Contreras, received the courtesy visit of the new ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in the country, Chen Luning.
Minister Isa Contreras and the diplomat discussed the possibilities of strengthening commercial relations and international cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Dominican Republic.
In a summary of the meeting, the Vice Minister of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Economy, Olaya Dotel, reported that Isa Contreras and Luning discussed topics such as the modernization of the agricultural sector and more sustainable rice production.
