Sepi, BlackRock, and Amancio Ortega to Receive Significant Dividend Payments

The Redeia group, which includes Red Eléctrica, will pay a complementary dividend of 0.7273 gross euros per share this Monday. Sepi, the largest shareholder, will receive 78.7 million euros, while BlackRock will receive over 19 million euros. Amancio Ortega, the founder of Inditex, will receive 19.67 million euros, given his 5% stake in the company.

This dividend is in addition to the 0.2727 gross euros per share paid on January 5, amounting to a total of 147.55 million euros. The complementary dividend payment will total 393.52 million euros.

Sepi holds a 20% stake in Redeia, followed by BlackRock with 4.754%, and Amancio Ortega with 5%. The American fund surpassed Ortega’s percentage on January 31, reaching 5.017% participation.

Redeia is not the only company paying dividends this week. On Thursday, Enagás, the manager and transporter of the gas system, will pay a total of 273.52 million euros for its complementary dividend, amounting to 1,044 gross euros per share. Sepi and Amancio Ortega will each receive 13.67 million euros, given their 5% stake. BlackRock will receive 3.183%.

Other significant shareholders of Enagás include the funds of Bank of America and Mubadala, the investment arm of the Arab Emirates.
