Eye of the Tiger is a title like it could only have been born in the 1980s. This legendary riff has become the sonic calling card of the saga rocky even as it was written for the third installment, in 1982.

For the occasion, in front of Jean-Jacques Justafré’s Grand Orchester (GOJJJ), it is Dave Bickler, the singer of the group Survivor, to whom we owe Eye of the Tiger on a soundtrack written by Vince DiCola, which will perform at the Zénith de Paris on Friday February 3, alongside musicians gathered for the occasion. And if Bill Conti, composer of the first soundtrack in 1976, will not be there, some of his songs, also passed down to posterity, will be well played.
