Motorola was the first brand to offer a device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. However, it only did so for the Chinese market, but now it seems that the rest of the world will finally be able to get their hands on the brand’s flagship.
According to the revelations made today, the top terminal is scheduled to arrive in all markets around the world starting next February.
The global variant of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro may have an under-display fingerprint sensor
By all indications, the month of February will bring long-awaited news to the global premium smartphone market. After Samsung announced that its Galaxy S22 series will be available globally during the month of February, the news emerged that Motorola will also launch the flagship Edge 30 Pro globally.
The news is advanced by the leaker Mukul Sharma and the 91Mobiles website, which do not give a specific date, they only say that it will be in February. The brand is expected to launch the model globally with the same technical specifications as it has in the Chinese market.
But the global variant may have a “huge little difference” from its Chinese counterpart. All because the latest rumors suggest that the global model could have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen. There is also talk that the rear panel may include the “M” marking in the lower left corner.
Specs expected on the Motorola Edge 30 Pro
As we already mentioned, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is expected to hit the global market with the same specifications as it was available in China. Thus, the terminal will have a 6.7-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz and touch sampling of 576 Hz.
On the optical side, the Edge 30 Pro will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a third depth sensor with a 2-megapixel resolution. On the front, the terminal will have a 60 megapixel super camera.
At the controls will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor along with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will run Android 12 under MYUX 3.0 and will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.
For now there is still no information on the price at which the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will arrive in the European market, but since the model will be available in February, it is possible that we will have news in this field very soon.
