Xiaomi has not yet delivered the previous version of Google’s operating system to a good part of its smartphones. At stake is Android 12, although the latest version, Android 13, has been available for more than 2 months. Now, however, we have some good news for some of the brand’s older models like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro/Pro Max and POCO M2 Pro.
The arrival of Android 12 on these smartphones occurs with the arrival of MIUI 13, a version that was expected for some of the Chinese manufacturer’s models. Now coming to India first, we have good news for the respective users.
MIUI 13 finally brings Android 12 to various Xiaomi smartphones
The Chinese manufacturer is now also starting to update several popular smartphone models in Portugal. By the way, as with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro/Redmi Pro Max and POCO M2 Pro, mid-range devices.
The novelty factor is indeed the update of the version of the operating system to Android 12 when at the moment these terminals are left with Android 11. Take a good look, an already somewhat outdated version of the operating system.
The system update will come to Xiaomi smartphones released in 2022
First, however, the system update will reach users enrolled in the Mi Pilot trial program. However, within a few weeks they should also reach the general public and more markets than the aforementioned Indian market.
The ongoing update will breathe new life into these cost-effective smartphones and we hope to have the news available in Portugal by the end of the year.
Finally, all the smartphones in question, the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, as well as the POCO M2 Pro were launched by the brand in 2020.
