Microsoft to increase prices for Microsoft 365 and Office 365 subscriptions in 2022

Microsoft has just announced a new price list for its subscriptions to Office 365 and Microsoft 365. This increase will only concern professionals and salespeople, and not individuals.

While Netflix has just announced a new price increase, it is Microsoft’s turn to review the prices of its Office 365 and Microsoft 365 subscriptions around the world. This new price list will come into force on March 1, 2022. As the Redmond firm specifies, consumer offers, the education sector and the SKU E5 (the premium formula), will not be affected.

According to the American giant, this is the “first substantial price update since we launched Office 365 ten years ago ”. To justify this new price list, Microsoft recalls that it is more than 24 additional applications who joined its Office and Microsoft 365 suites over the past four years, including Microsoft Teams, Planner, Visio, OneDrive, Power Apps or Yammer and Whiteboard. In addition, the company states that it has added more than 1,400 new features in Office 365 since its launch ten years ago.
