The captain of the Argentine national team, Lionel Messi, arrived in Rosario on Monday to spend his vacation after the successful tour with the national team, with which he closed the season. The Rosario landed in the morning, after 8:30, at the Rosario International Airport “Islas Malvinas”, in his private plane.
The “10” traveled together with Ángel Di María and Giovani Lo Celso from Rosario, and Rodrigo De Paul also joined. The four footballers closed their 2021/22 season with the tour they made with the Argentine national team in Europe.
The squad led by Lionel Scaloni had two weeks of preparation for the 2022 Qatar World Cup in Bilbao and played two games: the “Finalissima” against Italy (3-0) last Wednesday in London; and the 5-0 win in the friendly against Estonia, played on Sunday in Pamplona, in which the Paris Saint Germain star scored five goals.
The “Scaloneta”, with the undefeated record of 33 games, will meet again in September. Meanwhile, the ruling of the TAS is awaited to face Brazil for the pending match of the South American Qualifiers.
