The Dominican Federation of Equestrian Sports celebrated its annual award ceremony for Dominican riders in the modalities of Jumping, Dressage, Reining and Enduro in which riders were awarded nationally and internationally.
The most outstanding as national and international rider of the year was the jump rider Manuel Fernández Haché for his outstanding performance throughout the year 2022 after having obtained the prizes in competitions in the United States, Mexico and Colombia.
In the latter country, he obtained first place as absolute and undefeated champion of the XIX Bolivarian Games with an impeccable performance of 5 rounds without accumulated faults, individual gold medal, first place in the Speed test and first place in the Grand Prix on the last day. of competition.
The Bolivarian sports organization (ODEBO) highlighted the fact that since its founding in 1938, no rider had achieved this impeccable performance.
The FDDE award ceremony was held in the showrooms of the BMW of Magna Motors and was attended by the sports minister Francisco Camacho, the president of the COD Garibaldi Bautista, José Manuel Ramos, president of the FDDE and first vice president of the COD as well as Arístides Fernández Zucco, president of ASDO who took the floor together with a large group of presidents of federations and members of the current executive committee of the COD.
