Manchester United make a decision about Pellistri’s future

Manchester United are ready to allow the departure of their young Uruguayan international Facundo Pellistri. According to a report from Football Insider, the Red Devils have made a firm decision on the 22-year-old winger’s future and are ready to facilitate his sale if an offer they deem appropriate comes in during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Pellistri’s arrival at Manchester United in 2020 sparked huge expectations as he was considered one of the best young talents in world football at the time. However, his time at Old Trafford did not go as expected. Although he has taken part in 24 games since his arrival, he played most of his appearances on the bench without managing to establish himself in the first team.

Manchester United want to sell Pellistri in the summer

Manchester United have decided to take Pellistri on loan this season, with a short loan spell at Granada. Despite this, his situation has not improved significantly and the English club have concluded that he is no longer part of their future plans.

In order to transform the team under the new leadership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INOES, Manchester United intends to release several players in the upcoming transfer window. Pellistri is one of the names on the departure list as the club believes he is unlikely to make a significant contribution in the future.

However, the Red Devils will not let Pellistri go at any price. They are determined to receive an amount they deem appropriate for the young Uruguayan and are aiming to make a profit after acquiring him for £9m back in the day. Therefore, they will closely monitor the offers that will be made to him over the summer and will be ready to approve his departure if they meet their financial expectations.
