Live: Karan Johar’s Jugjugg Jeeyo in Trouble, Sanjay Dutt Remembers His Dad on Father’s Day

The Ranchi court will see the movie before the decision on the release of the movie ‘Jug-Jug Jio’ by famous Bollywood producer and director Karan Johar. Ranchi resident Vishal Singh filed a court case accusing him of stealing the film’s story and script.

While hearing the matter on Saturday, the Commercial Court located in the Ranchi Civil Court ordered the film’s producer, Dharma Productions, to make arrangements to show the film in court on June 21. The production company has announced the premiere of this film on June 24. During the court hearing, arguments were presented by lead counsel Chittaranjan Sinha on behalf of Karan Johar and counsel Kumar Vaibhav on behalf of the applicant.

It should be noted that during the latest hearing, the court sent notices to Dharma Production owners Karan Johar and Suber Mishra, as well as creative director Somen Mishra, co-producer Viacom 18, and the Screen Writers Association.

The petitioner Vishal Singh is a resident of Ranchi and is a Chartered Accountant by profession. Vishal has said in his complaint that the movie Jug Jug Jio has been made by stealing his story ‘Bunny Rani’. When the trailer for the film was released on May 22, he realized that this is his story. Vishal Singh had sent him this story earlier. The producer had returned this story to him and now a movie was secretly made.

We report here that Karan Johar has also been accused of theft in the song from the same movie. Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq had accused the film’s song of plagiarism saying that the song ‘Nach Punjaban’ from the film belonged to him and he had used it without his permission.
