The Villareal Football Club has announced the status of the remodeling works of the La Cerámica Stadium, a phase in which the roofs of both goals and the preference, the facades, the change of the chairs of all those stands and closing the only corner that was left open and without stands were going to be remodeled. A job that started a little over six months ago and that should be finished on December 31 in this first phase.
Right now, The roofs of these three stands and their façades are being finished off. as well as all the chairs of the field. While the new stand that has been built, the one that joins the south goal and the preference, is already finished and work is being done on its façade. From the club it is explained that the next step must be to act on the pitch, since the idea is to change it completely, both its drainage and the surface.
These works that must start in this month of December, with the idea that the pitch is in perfect working order a week before the competition starts again. As could be read here in AS, the idea is that the team can train on December 28, days before the game between Valencia at the end of the year.
After completing this first phase, with lighting wiring, public address system and some accesses, The final phase of this work will already be faced during the competition. The idea is that the complete remodeling of the field and its premiere as such, can be carried out in the month of March, coinciding with the centenary of the team.
