Kraken Teams Up with Mastercard to Boost Crypto Payments in Europe and UK

Kraken, a veteran cryptocurrency platform with over 15 million global customers, has teamed up with Mastercard to shake up the payments landscape. This partnership aims to bring cryptocurrency into the mainstream, making it easier for people to use digital assets in their daily lives. Kraken’s users in the UK and Europe will be able to spend their cryptocurrencies at over 150 million merchants worldwide that accept Mastercard.

Transforming Crypto into Cash

The partnership builds on Kraken’s recent launch of Kraken Pay, a feature that lets users make instant, borderless payments in over 300 cryptocurrencies and traditional currencies. Within 90 days, more than 200,000 Kraken users activated their ‘Kraktag,’ sending money globally with ease. Kraken plans to expand its payment options further by introducing physical and digital Mastercard debit cards in the coming weeks.
