England’s stormy bowler Joffra Archer has made a full recovery from injury. He is taking part in a three-day match against the England test team on behalf of the England Lions in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. After bowling in the match, Jofra said, I have fully recovered from my long injury. He is now considering a return to the England Test squad.
Jofra Archer has been away from international cricket for almost 20 months. He played his last cap in March 2021. After that, he hurt his elbow. During this, there was also a broken lower back. In December of last year, he underwent a second elbow surgery. Due to which he had to stay out of the cricket ground for a long time. He bowled 9 overs against the England Test team on Wednesday. Apart from this, he also scored 39 runs on the second day.
Speaking to the Reuters news agency, Joffra Archer said, yesterday was a big day for me. According to the 27-year-old bowler, a small day is still a big day. I have fully recovered from the injury. Archer said that her goal is to return to the test team, but she won’t be in a rush. According to him, obviously getting back to the test rig is my first priority, but getting back there as safely as possible.
During this, he further said, I want to take a few more months seriously. Maybe more serious than rehab. Because once this phase is completed correctly, it can leave me injury free for the next three to four years. According to Joffra, I want to play in every game. But I don’t think the physio will allow it. Our team is very strong, I can play all formats throughout the year.
