Argentine President Javier Milei reported this Friday evening through his social networks that his relationship with actress and comedian Fátima Florez has ended.
“Due to the overwhelming professional success that Fátima has experienced and of which I am very proud, she has received numerous job offers to work both in the United States and in Europe,” he began in a post he published on his X and Facebook accounts. This situation, he added, “led to the complex task that I face today and that the Argentines have entrusted to me” that both lived separately.
Milei said that her busy work schedule “makes the relationship we would like impossible, even though we love each other so much.” “Therefore, we have decided to end our relationship and maintain a friendly bond, considering what we care for each other and how much we love, respect and admire each other,” he concluded.
Milei and Florez met in December 2022 while recording a broadcast of La Mesa de Mirtha Legrand. At that point, Florez had been in a relationship with her husband for more than 20 years. However, they broke up a few weeks later. In August 2023, the relationship between the actress and the then presidential candidate became official.
