A week after its presentation, the first units of the new iPhone 13 began to reach buyers. And unsurprisingly, “in the name of science”, people have already taken the equipment apart.
OR youtuber WekiHome was the first to disassemble the iPhone 13 Pro and reveal the secrets of Apple’s new smartphone. From the battery capacity to the 5G modem, everything is counted in the low video.
The battery capacity of the iPhone 13 Pro is 3095mAh
As Apple announced, the iPhone 13 Pro has a battery with a higher capacity than its predecessor. The new model is presented in this teardown with 3095mAh, compared to 2815mAh for the iPhone 12 Pro.
The battery in question was produced by the Chinese company Sunwoda Electronic Co. It should be remembered that, according to Apple, this battery promises an autonomy of another hour and a half compared to its predecessor.
In one of the first tests, carried out by the YouTube channel Mrwhostheboss, the iPhone 13 Pro collected 8 hours and 17 minutes of autonomy. For example, the iPhone 12 achieved 5 hours and 54 minutes in this same test.
The computer also has a 5G modem called the Qualcomm X60. Samsung-designed panel debuts 120Hz on iPhone. The South Korean manufacturer is also the supplier of the equipment’s RAM modules.
As mentioned above, the iPhone 13 Pro has already started reaching early buyers. The device is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage versions. Its price starts from € 1179 in Portugal.
