According to research firm TrendForce, the iPhone 13 will be well equipped with a 5nm-engraved chip, which we currently know as the A15, and all models will benefit.a bigger battery thanks to the arrival of a slightly smaller motherboard.

In fact, we already knew that the Mini model would come equipped with a 2406 mAh battery, the standard model with a 3095 mAh battery, the Pro model with a 3095 mAh battery and finally the Pro Max model with a 4352 mAh battery. The latter would therefore offer a battery nearly 18% larger than the iPhone 12 Pro Max last year.

The iPhone 13 would support 5G mmWave bands

TrendForce also confirms that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro models will expand support for 5G mmWave to countries outside the US. Last year, only iPhone 12s sold in the US supported the mmWave bands, which offer much faster throughput than Sub-6GHz bands.

The exact number of countries in which the iPhone that supports mmWave bands will be available has not been released. However, it seems likely that Western Europe, as well as other developed regions, will have access to this resource.. France will soon allocate frequencies in the 26 GHz band to exploit this technology. Expected to be available in mid-2022.

As every year, the new iPhone 13 should be presented next September and sold in the following weeks. In terms of price, analysts expect the iPhone 13 to be priced similarly to the iPhone 12 to help Apple ” maintain your aggressive pricing strategy To help drive sales. Recall that the iPhone 12 mini, 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max were sold respectively for 809 euros, 909 euros, 1159 euros and 1259 euros.

Apple expects sales 20% higher than the iPhone 12 and expects to sell 100 million copies in the first few months. The research company believes that Total iPhone shipments may increase 30% year-over-year in Q3 2021.
