The world of gaming just got a whole lot more interesting, thanks to Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim, the director of inZOI from KRAFTON. In a recent video showcase, Kim revealed that the game’s characters will have a whopping 16 different ways to meet their demise. While he didn’t dive into all the details, he did give us a sneak peek into some of the more, shall we say, “creative” ways to die in the game. For instance, your character could slip and fall in the bathroom, get hit by a car, or even get electrocuted while trying to fix a faulty appliance.
As Kim so eloquently put it, “One of the biggest features of this game is death.” And boy, does he mean it! In inZOI, death is an integral part of life, and your character’s demise can be triggered by even the most mundane activities. Want to grab a bite to eat? Be careful not to consume expired food, or you might just find yourself rushing to the bathroom – and possibly meeting your maker. And if you’re feeling handy, be careful when tinkering with electrical appliances, or you might just get zapped.
The director emphasized that while some of these death scenarios might be unlikely, they add a layer of realism to the game. After all, who hasn’t had a close call with a wonky toaster or a slippery floor? Kim assured us that the game’s 16 different death scenarios will keep players on their toes, making them think twice before engaging in even the most routine activities. As he put it, “We recommend living life in the game cautiously.”
For those eager to experience the thrill of inZOI, the game will be available in Early Access on Steam starting March 28th. Until then, stay tuned for more updates and juicy tidbits from the world of gaming. And if you’re as excited as we are, be sure to keep an eye on our website for the latest news and reviews.
