Larian Studios has confirmed that Patch 8 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming on August 15.

The update brings several new features to the game. One of the most anticipated additions is a photo mode, allowing players to capture memorable moments.

New Features and Fixes

The patch also includes crossplay support, enabling players across different platforms to play together. Twelve new subclasses are being added, expanding character customization options. These subclasses include:

  • Bard – College of Glamour
  • Barbarian – Path of Giants
  • Cleric – Death Domain
  • Druid – Circle of Stars
  • Paladin – Oath of the Crown
  • Fighter – Arcane Archer
  • Monk – Drunken Master
  • Ranger – Swarmkeeper
  • Rogue – Swashbuckler
  • Sorcerer – Shadow Magic
  • Warlock – Hexblade
  • Wizard – Bladesinging

The update also brings split-screen support to Xbox Series S, making co-op gameplay more accessible. Numerous bug fixes are included as well.
