Influencer died after broadcasting live how he drank 4 bottles of Chinese liquor

Chinese influencer Wang Moufeng, better known as “Sanqiange” or “Brother Three Thousand”, He died less than 12 hours after broadcasting live on Douyin, a social network similar to TikTok, showing how he drank four bottles of Baijiu, a liquor from China that has between 40 and 60 degrees of alcohol.

According to Shangyou News, Sanqiange, 34, was participating in a challenge, called “PK,” with another tiktoker around 1 a.m. on May 16, and her lifeless body was found at 1 p.m. of that same day.

“PK” is short for “player death in Spanish” and is also used on TikTok where influencers compete against each other to win gifts and rewards from viewers, who ultimately pick the winner.

“I don’t know how much he had consumed before he tuned in to the show. But in the last part of the video, I saw him finish three bottles before starting a fourth,” the friend, identified only as Zhao, told Shangyou News.

The outlet confirmed that Sanqiange died from excessive drinking and that his body had been cremated.

Sanqiange had 44,000 followers and had previously been disciplined for sharing videos of himself drinking.
