The Indian women’s cricket team is touring Sri Lanka these days for the White Ball Series. The team that played under Harmanpreet Kaur won the T20 series 2-1. After the retirement of former captain Mithali Raj, the ODI team, who came to play for the first time, won the first match of the three match series by 4 wickets. India leads the series 1-0 and will be looking to take an unassailable 2-0 series lead in the second match. The middle order consisting of Harmanpreet, Harleen Deol, Deepti, Pooja Vastrakar led India to victory in the opening match. The Sri Lankan team hopes that patron Chamari Atapattu will inspire batsmen to play well with their bat. Left-arm spinner Inoka Ranvira dazzled in bowling, but will need the help of his teammates.
