New Delhi: Passengers were frightened by a technical glitch in a plane during a flight in India, a video made by the passenger inside is going viral on social media. The plane made an emergency landing in Delhi.
Indian Airlines SpiceJet flight SG 2962 was coming from Delhi to Jabalpur, at an altitude of 5,000 feet, it suffered a sudden technical malfunction.
In the video made by the passenger on the flight, it can be seen that the cabin is full of smoke and the passengers became frightened.
Pankaj Dubey, a senior Madhya Pradesh High Court lawyer who was also traveling on the same flight, said that as soon as the smoke appeared, all the passengers were scared.
Pankaj said that all the children on the plane were crying, people did not understand how to handle the children, handle the luggage or save themselves.
According to him, the cabin crew immediately started advising the passengers to wear oxygen masks, during which the AC of the plane was turned off and people were suffocating.
The plane was later landed safely at the Delhi airport due to the pilot’s present mental state. Alternative arrangements were made to transport the passengers to their destination.
Immediately after the incident, the management of SpiceJet also reported a technical fault in the plane from its official account. The company said in a statement that all the passengers have been safely disembarked and will be delivered to the destination soon.
