Starting hitter Harnoor Singh scored 100 unbeaten as India beat Australia by nine wickets in a warm-up game ahead of the U-19 World Cup. Australia, after being invited to bat first, scored 268 runs in 49.2 overs with the help of 117 runs from Captain Cooper Connolly.

Connolly hit 14 fours and four sixes in his innings. Harnoor scored 100 runs with the help of 16 fours. He got good support from Sheikh Rashid, who played a 72-run inning.

Both players retired injured and returned to the pavilion and then captain Yash Dul (50 not out) led the team to goal with 15 balls to spare.
