Ever since Honor parted ways with Huawei, it has made its mark on the market, thriving in the Chinese market, but also globally. The reasons for this to happen are related to the fact that the terminals have Google services and present good technical arguments and/or have an affordable price.
The new Play 40 Plus that Honor has just launched on the market does not escape this custom. The model arrives at an affordable cost and with good arguments for the smartphone segment in which it is positioned.
From the first moment with the huge 6,000 mAh battery that is one of its strengths. With a battery of this size, providing up to 23 hours of video playback, the brand doesn’t even have to worry about supporting fast charging that fast. And that’s what happens, the Play 40 Plus has 22.5W support.
On the front of the terminal is the 6.74-inch screen that provides Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The drop-shaped notch houses the front camera with a resolution of five megapixels. The panel is eye protection certified and has a ratio of 90.07%.
Inside it houses the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with support for 5G communications that is combined with 6 or 8 GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded with an additional 5 GB. As for internal storage, there are two variants, one with 128 and one with 256 GB.
It is also very elegant, with a thickness of just 8.27 millimeters and a weight of 196 grams.
In addition, in the optical part, it has a dual camera configuration with a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a depth sensor with two megapixel resolution.

Honor has just launched the Play 40 Plus in the Chinese market. It is possible that the model will be launched on the global market, but for now the brand has not yet provided information on when it will happen.
The Play 40 Plus has three variants available. The first with 6 GB of RAM and 128 Gb is available for 1,199 yuan (about 170 euros), the second variant with 8 GB + 128 GB costs 1,399 yuan (approx. GB and 256 GB of storage is priced at 1,599 yuan (about €170).€225).
