H&M opens its first outlet

H&M chooses the United Kingdom to open its first outlet. The Swedish fashion distribution giant will open its first outlet store in the mall Affinity, in Staffordshire. The Swedish chain wants to show that sustainability is still at the top of its agenda.

The store will open in April and will have a commercial area of ​​7,000 square feet (approximately 650 square meters) and will distribute products from the men’s, women’s and children’s lines at reduced prices. The H&M UK & Ireland Country Manager, Toni Gallihas described it as “quality fashion at the best price in a sustainable way«. He added that this store will also offer a modern shopping experience to consumers, since they will «celebrate style, creativity and culture«.


H&M has carried out several actions in sustainability

One of his first actions in this field was carried out in 2018 with the launch of P12. This was a platform for selling own and third-party products at reduced prices in Stockholm. Among the brands that will collaborate in this project are Arket, &Otherstories, Nike, Reebok, Converse or Adidas.

Later he launched other projects such as afounda business of second brands with discounts of up to 70%.
