The application google messages is one of the best SMS and communications apps you can find for Android mobile devices, a free and full-featured solution. In fact, very soon we may have two new trump cards, one reasonably more useful and the other more “colorful”.
In other words, we are counting on the arrival of automatic transcriptions of the extracts and clips Received audio, for example as MMS, or RCS communication via Google Messaging. Automated features coming soon to the Google Messages app
First of all, the novelties were detected by the publication 9to5Google, during one of the routine analyzes of the source code of the new (beta) versions of the app. References were found there, in the lines of code, to the functions that we are now making known.
We will thus have audio messages with automatic transcription to text, which will arrive first in the English language, but should quickly spread to several other languages. This feature will make voice memos even more useful and easy to refer to by making it easier to assimilate the respective content.
Reactions with emojis will also come to the Google Messages app
At the same time, the Google Messages app will also have emoji reactions. Apparently, this implementation will be very similar to what we have already found in the WhatsApp messaging application. In practice, when receiving a message, we can click on it and keep pressing until the various possibilities of reaction through emojis arise.
This is another feature that will come to Android users thanks to the possibilities of the RCS standard. This extends the common capabilities of the SMS text communications standard, with new “rich” content, hence the acronym “Rich Communication Services” or RCS.
We also have a new Gallery view for the Google messaging app.
This standard has introduced new forms of communication, more in line with what we find in messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, among others. Now, we await the arrival of this personalization and productivity booster for the Google app.
Finally, we also have the arrival of a new gallery view for Google’s messaging app. More specifically, a new organization and presentation of the content of the image, simply making a Commute to browse through the images in Gallery.
