Unlike other years, OnePlus started by launching its high-end smartphone in China first. The OnePlus 10 Pro did not have global primacy and came to the Chinese market with ColorOS, Oppo’s user interface.
It should be remembered that this change comes after OnePlus joined Oppo last year, ceasing to be independent. And one of the changes announced was that they would use a globally unified user interface, thus ending OxygenOS, one of OnePlus’ great assets.
OnePlus 10 Pro may still arrive with OxygenOS
Everything indicated that the OnePlus 10 Pro was the first smartphone to reach global markets with this unified interface. But according to an exclusive from 91mobiles, this unified interface has been delayed.
The source says that the global version of the OnePlus 10 Pro will arrive with OxgenOS 12, based on Android 12. The same source says that the smartphone will be launched in global markets at the end of March.
Since the Unified Interface is a mystery in terms of appearance and features, OnePlus fans will be able to breathe a sigh of relief if this news is confirmed. This is because OxygenOS, close to pure Android, is one of the reasons that still leads many users to buy smartphones from the brand.
The OnePlus 10 Pro has already launched in China, so the remaining specs are no secret. The smartphone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO 2.0 screen and 2K resolution with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The main camera is 48 MP, and it is accompanied by a 50 MP wide-angle and an 8 MP telephoto lens. The front camera is 32 MP.
The smartphone also has a 5000 mAh battery, with 80 W wired charging and 50 W wired charging. It also highlights the presence of an on-screen fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 5G and Wi-Fi 6E.
