The Giants of the Cibao, the Leones of the Chosen and the Eastern Stars will begin their training today with a view to the fall-winter Professional Baseball Tournament in the Dominican Republic, scheduled to begin on October 15.
The general manager of the Giants, Jesús Mejía, reported that all the players who belong to the team’s reserve are invited to participate in the training sessions, as well as those who arrived through the League’s Rookie Draw.
The call for the team led by Luis – Pipe- Urueta is made to start at 9:30 in the morning at the Julián Javier Stadium in San Francisco de Macorís.

The scarlet set will begin its preparation
from 9:00 in the morning at the New York Yankees academy, located in the municipality of Boca Chica.
The first session will be led by bench coach Felipe Rojas Jr., who will be in charge of the scarlet preparation until the arrival of Puerto Rican coach Pedro López.
During the first day, Rojas Jr. will be accompanied by the field and planning coordinator, Chris Madera, the assistant pitching coach, Alex Concepción, the bullpen instructor, Edwar Ramírez and the first class coach, Freddy Guzmán.
Oriental Stars
The Pachyderms will train at the complex of the Baltimore Orioles, in Baseball City, Boca Chica, at 9:00 in the morning. The Stars have called all the players on their roster to training, including those recently recruited (16) in the entry draw of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League and three others signed as free agents, after that process.
The San Pedro de Macorís-based team is coming off a tournament in which they advanced to the playoffs for the second time in a row, and third in the last four tournaments, including their coronation as national champion (2018-2019).
