Foreign human trafficking gang arrested in Turkey

ANKARA: Turkish authorities have arrested a group of human organ transplants consisting of Jordanians and Palestinians.

According to foreign media reports, Turkish security officials conducted an operation against the group in Istanbul following a complaint from a hospital, in which four members of the group were arrested and six of their facilitators were also arrested.

The foreign group receives a hefty 50,000 for organ transplants, of which US 10 10,000 is given to the organ donor and 15 15,000 to the hospital administration, while the remaining 25 25,000 is kept by them.

The ringleader of the group used social media to look for forced refugee donors who would donate their livers or kidneys, then create documents that would make the patient and the donor look like relatives.
