Two policemen were killed and 12 others were injured in a militant attack in Occupied Kashmir. Kashmir police confirmed in a Twitter message.
Kashmir police said in a Twitter message that militants opened fire on a police vehicle on the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday, injuring at least 14 personnel.
According to Kashmir Police, two personnel succumbed to their injuries. All the injured personnel were shifted to the hospital and the area was cordoned off.

Kashmir police told foreign media that the incident took place just hours after two suspected militants were killed in an exchange of fire between government forces.
After the incident, a heavy contingent of police and army cordoned off the area and started searching for the attackers. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
