FIFA 22 comes to PlayStation, Xbox PC and Stadia: find out what’s new

This Friday, October 1, is marked by the official launch of FIFA 22. The game is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S / X, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia from € 69.99.

Whoever bought the Ultimate version (€ 99.99), had 4 days early access to the game. For the rest, less willing to pay that amount, now is the time to test the novelties of the title. Although some of them are only available for next-gen consoles and Google Stadia.

HyperMotion technology is big news for FIFA 22

“This title brings the game even closer to reality, with key gameplay enhancements that take full advantage of PlayStation 5 features like HyperMotion gaming technology, where the power of the PS5 enables unprecedented realism in football.” writes PlayStation in a statement.

These new additions to Xbox Series X / S and Google Stadia also allow gamers to “create a style of play that closely resembles the way real soccer players compete on the field.”

On PS5, Sony promises that “transitions will be incredibly fast, maximize gaming sessions, and you will be able to go faster from the menu to startup thanks to the PS5’s powerful built-in SSD.”

The DualSense controller will also be part of the superior FIFA 22 experience on PS5. “From goals and car cuts to drag-reduction effects, tactile feedback and adaptive triggers allow you to experience the game in a way never seen before,” says Sony. Thanks to 3D audio, a “totally immersive experience”.
