Haas and Ferrari Extend Technical Partnership Until 2028
Haas and Ferrari have announced that they will continue their technical partnership until the 2028 season. The American team will continue to compete with Ferrari engines for at least four more years.
The Collaboration Continues
Since Haas’ arrival in Formula 1 in 2016, the team has always used Ferrari engines. "I am delighted to extend our relationship with Scuderia Ferrari until 2028," commented Ayao Komatsu, director of the American team. Continuing with the same engines gives them great stability as a team.
2026 Engines
With this official statement on Haas’ motorization by Ferrari, almost all the engines that the teams will use in two years’ time are already known. In the 2026 season, anything can happen in the Grand Prix as there will be a change in regulations, but what we already know clearly is the engines of each team, except for one.
The 2026 Lineup
The Ferrari engine will be used by Haas and by the Italian team itself in 2026. Audi will also have its own engine with its arrival in F1, and Mercedes will supply power units to Williams and McLaren. Aston Martin will be the only team to use Honda engines. Red Bull and RB will begin a new journey with a new project of their own. The only one left to know is Alpine, which is running with a Renault engine this season.
