Everything we already know about the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max

Only in September will we know the next top of the range Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, but we already know that we will have very welcome news.

We have prepared a summary of all the information known so far about two of the most anticipated smartphones of the moment.

The iPhone 14 Pro models will feature some significant changes

The first big change we can expect to see in the next-gen iPhone Pro models will be in terms of design.
Rumors advance that the models will no longer have a notch on the screen to adopt the pill plus hole formula that will house the front sensor and Face ID. This minor major change will translate to a larger screen ratio, which should please iOS users.

But the design will have another novelty. Apparently, Apple will make a purple variant available on both iPhone 14 Pro models.

The exact tone is not yet known, but if we think of the last green option that the brand made available for the iPhone 13, it is likely to be a metallic tone and more discreet than it may seem at first glance.

But the big change and also the most anticipated will be well kept inside both the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. We are talking about the new patented A16 Bionic processor.

This, along with the 6 GB of integrated RAM, should provide a speed of performance never seen before in an iPhone model. Also inside, the new generation iPhone 14 Pro can “hide” Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, which will make these models future-proof.

Also in the optical part a big change is expected. According to all the rumors released, Apple will update the integrated sensors to a resolution of 48 megapixels, in addition to also providing the ability to record 8K video. This is a significant improvement over the current 12 megapixels and will only be present on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models.

Last but not least, the screens of both Pro terminals will feature ProMotion technology. In other words, they will provide a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

It remains for us to say that, despite all the conditions that Apple has been facing with the confinements in the Chinese locations where the production of the next generation of iPhone takes place, the terminals must be launched on the scheduled date.

Taking into account the history of the brand, we can expect an event on the first or second Tuesday of September, which, this year, will be on the 6th or 13th of that month, around 6pm in Portugal. But until then we should have more details revealed of one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year.
