The Drums brings us some additional new songs
Just last year we had the return of The drums with the album Johnny, which marked a return after an absence of more than four years. But it appears Jonny Pierce had saved more music than he left off the album.

Pet Shop Boys pay tribute to a legendary dancer with “Dancing Star.”

Empire Of The Sun also joins the songs of the week
We’ve seen many epic comebacks so far in 2024, and one that has us excited (but also a little mysterious). It’s the one from Empire of The Sun. A few weeks ago they released a song with PNAU and we were already excited to see if an album would be released…

Vampire Weekend open another stage with their album “Only God Was Above Us”.
Five years passed Vampire Weekend will release a new album, but it was worth the wait. Only God was above us is an entertaining album that defies genres and stays true to the band’s sound.
Vampire Weekend has always been the product of an elegant blend of genres, but now they’ve blown it up, with great bridges and cuts in songs that seem “simpler.” The mix of genres and experiments is great, So this is by far our album of the week. Here is the review.
