Earthquake in Mexico: An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 was felt in Mexico’s capital. The tremors of the earthquake were felt at 1 pm on Wednesday. Two people were killed in a 7.6-magnitude earthquake that struck western and central Mexico three days ago. According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the quake was south-southwest near the Pacific coast in western Michoacan, at a depth of about 24.1 km. Michoacan’s local government said the tremors were felt across the state. There was no immediate information about any casualties.

The President said there was no immediate report of any loss of life or property. Mexico City Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum tweeted that there were no immediate reports of damage in the capital.
The epicenter of the earthquake is 37 km from Aquila

According to this, the epicenter of the quake was 37 km southeast of Aquila near the border of Colima and Michoacan states at a depth of 15.1 km. The magnitude of the earthquake was initially reported as 7.5. Significantly, earthquake tremors were felt in Mexico in 1985 and 2017 on the same day (September 19).
