Dinesh Karthik criticizes Bangalore pitch after RCB’s loss

The Royal Challengers Bangalore have played five matches in the 2025 Indian Premier League so far, with three wins and two losses. At home in Bangalore, they’ve struggled, losing both matches – one to the Delhi Capitals by six wickets. After the loss, Dinesh Karthik shared his thoughts on the pitch. According to a report, Karthik plans to discuss the issue with the curator.

Karthik expressed his concerns about the pitch, saying, “We expected better conditions in the first two matches, but batting was tough. We try to perform our best regardless of the situation.” He added, “We’ll talk to the curator. We trust they’ll do their job. So far, the pitch hasn’t been helpful for batsmen.”

Currently, the Royal Challengers Bangalore are third in the points table, having won three out of five matches. They’ve beaten the Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, and Mumbai Indians, but lost to the Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals.

Some players have stood out for RCB. Rajat Patidar has performed well, scoring 186 runs in five matches. Virat Kohli has also scored 186 runs in five matches. In terms of bowling, Josh Hazlewood has been impressive, taking eight wickets in five matches. Krunal Pandya has taken seven wickets.
