Covid-19: Olivier Véran visiting the Aix-en-Provence hospital center

Faced with the rebound in the epidemic and the rebound in the number of hospitalized patients, Olivier Véran, Minister of Solidarity and Health, visited the Aix-en-Provence Hospital Center on Thursday.

With an incidence rate of 567 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants, the health situation in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur is increasingly complicated. The Regional Health Agency has activated the white plan to prepare for the arrival of the fourth wave to hospitals. The Minister of Solidarity and Health visited the hospital in Aix-en-Provence.

For the minister, this visit was an opportunity to dialogue with the health teams and continue promoting vaccination. After speaking with a newly vaccinated caregiver, Olivier Véran spoke to the media. He reiterated that “no one will be deprived of care depending on the pass” before insisting on the need to stop the numerous visits of unvaccinated people.

Finally, he sent one last message in favor of the vaccine. “The resuscitation here is full of people who regret not having been vaccinated,” said the minister.
