The third week of the Circuito Desafiante 2025 is heating up. This League of Legends tournament has already seen one player retire in just three weeks. Let’s dive in.
Monday’s matchups were intense. LOS faced off against Stellae Gaming, while RED Canids Academy took on Dopamina. The first duel ended a team’s undefeated streak, and the second marked the final professional game for a well-known player.
LOS vs Stellae Gaming
These two teams, both 2-0, clashed in a fierce battle. The rivalry between them dates back to their VALORANT days, another Riot Games title. LOS emerged victorious, winning 2-1 in a best-of-three series. They’re now in second place in the Circuitão.

RED Canids Academy vs Dopamina
On Thursday, top laner Marcelo “Ayel” Mello announced his retirement from competitive League of Legends. He played for Dopamina and is the second player to leave the team after they qualified for the Circuitão. This might have been his last professional LoL game.
Ayel started his career in 2016 with RED Canids and played for INTZ and paiN Gaming (PNG). He won a Superliga ABCDE title in 2017 with PNG and a Circuitão title with the same team. In his final game, RED Canids dominated, winning 2-0 and securing their first victory in the tournament.
We did our homework, put @Grevthar to work, and got our first 2-0 win 🙏 Who was your MVP today?
Thanks for the support, Matilha! Our Academy team is back on Wednesday for the second series of the #CircuitoDesafiante day! #GoRED pic.twitter.com/GVIst66jAs
